So the week passed by in a jiffy. Upon returning to unit I had to go for my familiarisation and orientation to the unit vehicles, followed by an assessment. It’s over now so I got that off my mind. Had to serve regimental guard duty on Friday night. I wasn’t quite happy about it at first but just slept on it. Duty’s over and I spent the entire Saturday reading at Starbucks.

Anyway today was quite shitty as well. Priya found out that the Creative Sound Blaster Play is out of stock. If you have no idea what that is, here’s a picture and a link.

My audio output jack of my 5 year old laptop has broken and the only way to output sound from it is this nifty device, and it is out of stock in the two Creative outlets in Singapore. FTS! I don’t really care if the sound blaster puts back all the audio quality lost while compressing media. All I need right now is to churn decibels from the bloody computer once again! Anyone knows where I can get my hands on one of those? Or any brands that sell similar products? I found a lot of products but they look pretty dodgy. Brandless and mostly american websites.

And oh, this would make perfect earphones for the new iPod Classic that I got as a birthday present from my friends.
